Assistance sought after pedestrian struck, driver flees
The Guelph Police Service is seeking the public’s help after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Friday evening and the driver fled the scene.
Approximately 5:09 p.m. emergency services were called to the intersection of Goodwin Drive and Hodgson Drive. A black pickup truck had turned from Hodgson Drive onto Goodwin Dr and struck a 49-year-old female pedestrian. The driver then fled the scene eastbound on Goodwin Drive. The pedestrian sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
