Guelph Police officer facing Police Services Act allegation
A Guelph Police Service constable has been served a Notice of Hearing pursuant to the Police Services Act alleging one count of Discreditable Conduct contrary to s. 80(1)(a) of the Act.
The member, who has 11 years of service with the Guelph Police Service, will appear at a public hearing on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. to answer to the allegation of misconduct.
The allegation stems from a civilian complaint in 2023 to the Office of the Independent Police Review Director (OIPRD), as it was known before becoming the Law Enforcement Complaints Agency (LECA) earlier this year.
The first appearance for this hearing will be held virtually. Interested parties are invited to connect to the proceeding using the link below.
