Male arrested for indecent act

A Guelph male has been arrested after a customer of a south-end business was seen masturbating earlier this month.

The evening of June 12, a male entered a business on Stone Road West and sat at a table at the back of the business. He then moved closer to the front, placing his hand down his pants and masturbating while watching the all-female staff. When the employees moved away from him, he stole a small amount of cash from a tip jar and left the business.

The male was identified through investigation and Sunday night was located downtown and arrested. A 28-year-old Guelph male is charged with committing an indecent act and theft under $5,000. He will appear in court August 15, 2023.
