Collision Causes Rollover
On November 23, 2022 at approximately 2:20pm, police were called to the intersection of Victoria Road South and Stone Road West for the report of a collision. Investigation alleges a Toyota was northbound on Victoria and made a left turn towards Stone Road. The Toyota then collided with a southbound vehicle. This collision caused the Toyota two roll over, trapping the occupant inside until emergency services arrived.
The driver in the southbound vehicle was taken to the Guelph General Hospital and subsequently released with minor injuries. The 21-year-old Puslinch female driving the northbound Toyota was charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
Wanted Female – Arrested
On November 23, 2022 at approximately 10am, Guelph police were patrolling downtown and observed a female known to be wanted. The female was arrested for a warrant relating to a theft. Search incident to arrest alleges the female had controlled substances on her.
The 32-year-old Guelph female was further charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance (suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, and LSD) and failing to appear in court. The female was held for a bail hearing.
Impaired Driver
On November 23, 2022 at approximately 7:20pm, Guelph police were called to the area of Gordon Street and Wellington Street East, where a citizen was reporting an erratic driver. The vehicle in question was located by police and the driver spoken to. As a result of the subsequent investigation, the 39-year-old Guelph male was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a vehicle. It is alleged the male consumed over twice the amount of the legal limit.
Break and Enters
On November 23, 2022 at approximately 9:20am, Guelph police were called to a Paisley Road residential building for the report of a break and enter. Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) entered the office of the building overnight and stole electronic equipment and keys.

Guelph police would like to notify community members that we have contacted the individual and an investigation has been initiated.
